The jocktag on the bottom-left corner of the jersey features the letter ‘R’ from the Revolution crest, rendered in a font inspired by the East India Trading Company lettering that adorned the tea crates dumped into Boston Harbor in 1773. Additionally, the Heritage Tree icon on the back of the neck pays tribute to the flag of New England, a symbol proudly waved by club supporters during home matches, featuring the number 96 as a subtle nod to the club’s inaugural season.
The Revolution’s new Boston Tea Party kit commemorates the 250th anniversary of the historic event in December 1773, one of the earliest and most impactful acts of defiance in American history. The jersey design showcases red and white vertical waves on the front, symbolizing the ripples in the Boston Harbor caused by the East India Trading Company’s tea crates as American revolutionaries emptied 45 tons of tea into the water.
